Venus Williams is one of the most accomplished and inspiring athletes in the history of sports, with 7 Grand Slam titles, 5 Wimbledon titles, and 4 Olympic gold medals to her name. Williams entered the world of tennis at the age of 14, rising to the top of the rankings, breaking countless records, and winning numerous titles. Williams has been an advocate for equality her entire career. During the 2007 Wimbledon tournament, it was her unwavering efforts that led to women players earning the same wage as their male counterparts. She launched the #PrivilegeTax campaign along with EleVen to bring attention to wage inequality and introduce a platform of resources for young women to get inspired and address the issue at the grassroots level.
