Video essays about video games I love (or feel strongly about). Typically my essays focus on discussing a game’s story, giving my interpretation and analysis of its characters, themes, and messages. Sometimes I also discuss what I think a game does well or could improve upon from a writing or design perspective. I hope that whether you’ve never heard of a game before or it's your absolute favorite, you find my videos interesting!

The name “PlayItEssays” comes from my belief that the greatest praise you can give a game is telling someone to “play it!”. I try to cover a wide variety of games so feel free to suggest your favorites! Game devs feel free to send keys, but note that I typically don’t make videos on demos.
