Kiara's Korner

I began this journey of monkey ownership in early 2019. My first monkey was a Green Monkey (a subspecies of a Vervet). Her name was Kiara. She was my world. Sadly, I lost her in 2022 to an accident. I now have 3 Vervets (1 Green Monkey and 2 Grivets).

While this channel was created initially to allow friends and family to follow Kiara, it has now become a place I hope others will refer to when caring for monkeys in captivity. I try to give them the best possible life in captivity. They don't wear clothes, aren't forced to do tricks, and are diaper free 100% of the time. They have each other as a small troop, have large play areas both indoors and outdoors, are fed a strict primate appropriate diet, are given tons of enrichment activities, and are allowed to just be monkeys.
